This class explores the importance of essential tools for writers including blogging and journaling, as these two tools are important, and often neglected, vehicles to improve and keep sharp writing skills. This class will also explore their differences and will teach writers how to get started.

As a writer, it’s extremely important to assess, express and record your feelings and thoughts, constructively and positively. We’ll explore the importance of recording the writing life both publicly (blogging) and privately (journaling), and how these tools make a writer stronger overall.

Blogging allows a writer to do this in a public forum, which helps the writer to engage with their readers and perhaps inspire them.

Journaling allows a writer to do the above in an introspective and reflective manner, while maintaining a catalog of those things in a private forum.

Both are integral tools on a writer’s journey and provide them with the tools to spark creativity, discovery and maintain their enthusiasm for the craft and the journey itself.
